Case background:
Recently, our company received a piece of equipment. The customer said that the spindle disk did not move and was stuck;
Our maintenance engineers dismantled the equipment and the disassembly details are as follows:
1. The residual lubricating oil at the drive end is black in color and contains metal powder;
2. Sludge deposition at the bottom of the fuel tank;
3. The driven shaft gear end bearing is damaged, the balls are deformed, the cage is worn and missing, and the journal is worn;
4. The driven rotor gear end face frictionally collides with the gear end side plate end face;
5. The cylinder and rotor surfaces are severely rusted;
Cause analysis by maintenance engineer:
1. Deterioration of lubricating oil: The residual lubricating oil at both end caps was found to be black in color, accompanied by sludge precipitation, the lubricating oil was aging, and the replacement and maintenance were not timely;
2. Poor lubrication: The gear end bearing has dry friction marks and the balls are abnormally worn.
